Friday Night Fakeaway

What you’ll need:

  • 2 naan breads
  • 8 plum tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 ball mozzarella
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 4 tbs passata
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 white potatoes (sliced into wedges)

Who doesn't love pizza and chips? This fakeaway version is so easy to make and perfect for all the family to enjoy. If you want to add a little variety, then feel free to go nuts with your toppings.

How to make:

1.
Rinse your wedges in cold water then place them in an oven-proof dish and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Add to the top shelf of the oven and cook for around 30 mins.

Add the oregano to the passata, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Top the naan breads with the passata mix, tomatoes and tear the mozzarella ball and divide equally amongst the naans.

When the wedges are halfway through cooking put the pizzas in the oven. Bake the naan pizzas for around 12-15 mins. When the wedges are done, season again and top with a little vinegar. Serve with a mixed salad.

The fun part:

This is the real basic version perfect for all the family. If you want to add a little spice, top with chorizo and chilli flakes for a winning combo and add a little cajun spice to the wedges.
